Who We Are
Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy offers a full spectrum of theatre arts training, ranging from preschool creative dramatic programs to advanced performing arts skills and technical theatre. The academy is committed to providing high-quality theatre arts education to students. Our goal is to help students develop their Bodies, Voices, Minds and Imaginations to enable them to flourish and grow, both as artists and people.
What We Believe
At FPCTA, we believe in creating high-quality, engaging educational theatre programs for students regardless of their socioeconomic background. Our goal is to motivate and inspire students to dream big as they build self-confidence, teamwork, and empathy through performance and creative expression.
We believe that by learning life skills through stage skills, we encourage students to discover their shine in unique, dynamic, and creative ways.
We believe in creating safe spaces where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
We embrace kindness, acceptance, and mutual respect as we teach students to navigate life's challenges on and offstage.
We believe in the power of theatre to create stronger, smarter, more responsible humans who are empowered to use critical, creative, and analytical thinking to solve problems.

Lab 87 Teen Acing Conservatory
Lab 87 is FPCTA's pre-professional training program intended for serious performers ages 13-18. Students will be exposed to a variety of performance skills, including on-camera acting (including self-tape), resume building, musical theatre, audition technique, voice & movement, and classical text work. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with college programs and area professionals in the performing arts field. Each student will leave the class with their own customized audition book of material and updated resume. The class will culminate in a performance showcase. The goal of Lab 87 is for our students to graduate from the program with the necessary skills to work and train professionally as performing artists. Admission is by audition only in August of each year.
