Performance Showcases

Performance Showcases are offered each semester in acting or musical theatre. Actors learn the process of putting on a play through the audition and rehearsal process and into performance. Our Young Musical Theatre Showcase is for ages 5-7, Advanced Musical Theatre Showcase for ages 8-18, and our Teen Acting Showcase is for ages 12-18. For our Advanced Musical Theatre Showcase and Teen Acting Showcase, we recommend previous acting/musical theatre coursework and/or summer production experience.

The Academy’s Performance Showcases take actor training to the next level as students stage a fully realized production. Performance Showcases are offered each semester.

We recommend previous acting/musical theatre coursework and/or production experience. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances. Excessive absences may result in dismissal from the program.

Teen Acting Showcase

Affectionately described as “boot camp theatre,” FPCTA’s Teen Acting Showcase is an exhilarating combination of theatre training and stage experience. This program requires a lot of discipline and focus and is an exciting challenge for our advanced students. We recommend previous acting coursework and/or production experience. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances. Excessive absences may result in dismissal from the program.
