The creative team is seeking a dynamic ensemble of approximately 12-15 performers for Goodman and Tanner’s Winnie-the-Pooh: The Musical. This sweet adaptation of the timeless A.A. Milne classic is told through the imaginative play of our children narrators and their adult friends. Set in a modern children’s playroom, this musical will delight audiences as each scene transforms the everyday toys and stuffed animals into the Hundred Acre Woods and its inhabitants.
We seek performers who move well, sing with confidence, exude a strong sense of imagination, and showcase a willingness to play in a joyful and collaborative environment.
Rather than performing a monologue side, please come to the audition prepared to sing a song from one of the provided songs. Please see the audition notice for all LINKS.
Please keep in mind that we would like to see the same level of energy and interest as you would normally bring while performing a traditional monologue. We are looking for a willingness to play. If you are having fun, we are having fun. Track accompaniment will be provided. Following your song selection, we will ask you to showcase a few moments of guided, improvised play with a stuffed animal (provided at auditions).
