Meet Farrah Starr, Fantasy Kid

I have learned that it’s okay to make mistakes. If you practice, you can always be better. That, and that you can make lots of lots of friends doing one show.
— Farrah Starr

Farrah Starr Hardy is a vibrant nine-year-old from Columbia Elementary, currently in third grade, who loves being part of FPCTA. Farrah first discovered FPCTA when her mom joined the board, and soon after, she began attending summer camps. One day, her mom asked if she’d like to audition for a show. Farrah said yes, landed a part, and found her passion for theater.

Through her experiences at FPCTA, Farrah has learned that it’s okay to make mistakes, practice always leads to improvement. She cherishes how every show brings the chance to make lots of new friends and build lasting memories. One of her favorite moments came during the production of “A Wrinkle in Time,” when her mom (who was also the director) joined the cast on stage for the Camazotz scene, making the experience even more special.

Farrah dreams of becoming a singer when she grows up. Her time at FPCTA has prepared her well, giving her plenty of chances to sing and dance in musical numbers, just like she would in music videos.

To Farrah, FPCTA is much more than just a theater. It’s a welcoming place where kids can attend summer and spring camps, audition for shows, practice, perform, and, most importantly, make new friends. She believes FPCTA helps others by creating a space where everyone can have fun, learn, and feel included, whether on stage, in the audience, or at summer camp.

Farrah, is excited to continue her journey with FPCTA, making new memories and friends along the way.
